Outdoor Education at our school takes learning outdoors, providing students with structured opportunities to explore, inquire and engage with the natural environment. Grounded in Bunurong Country, the program supports student wellbeing, curiosity, and a strong sense of place through purposeful experiences in nature.
The program is guided by three key principles:
Students participate in a range of seasonally responsive learning experiences that may include environmental observation, exploration of natural materials, creative expression, and inquiry-based tasks. These experiences are delivered through a fortnightly cycle of wetlands-based sessions and school-based extensions, ensuring continuity, depth, and multiple modes of learning.
Outdoor Education supports students to become capable, compassionate, and connected learners who understand themselves, contribute to their community and engage meaningfully with the living world.
