Each year student leaders are selected by their peers and the staff. The students plan and deliver a speechtalking about why  they want and should be a leader for our school.

Presently we have 2 school captains who welcome guests to our school, represent MPPS at special events and work closely with the Principal and Assistant Principal on making our school an even better place.

Because we have an abundance of students that demonstrate leadership qualities we also have other roles that are specific to a particular area. There are opportunities for leadership in art, music, physical education, environment, and community leaders that work closely with the captains to enhance our school programs.  

All students at Mornington Park PS are involved in making important decisions on what is happening and the vision for our school future.
