Tour around the School
The school has two core buildings. One has the administration area, first aid room, general purpose room, staff room, library, music room, art/craft room and six classrooms. The second building houses the reading recovery centre, an information technology lab and five classrooms.

The school council is committed to the continued maintenance and upgrading of the school's buildings and grounds with an emphasis on a safe and stimulating outdoor area. The school is constructed to cater for students with disabilities and impairments. The region has a Reading Recovery Training Unit located at the school. Mornington Park Primary School also co-ordinates a Water Safety Trailer, utilised by schools on the Peninsula.

Library
Our School Library is an extremely well equipped resource centre, available for use by the whole school community.
The facility is open for half of each lunchtime (Mon-Thurs), for students to read, play board games, draw, use computers or watch a movie.
An extensive collection of Steiner influenced books is available for parent borrowing or browsing.
Students from Prep to Grade 3 are allowed to borrow two Library books, plus a Lexile reader if required. Senior students can borrow 4 books plus a Lexile reader. The loan period is two weeks but can be extended upon request.
Senior classes are taken by the Librarian in terms 1 and 3, and junior sessions in terms 2 and 4. Classroom teachers take their own Library lessons in the intervening times.
The Library staff is very flexible and welcomes groups for extra sessions when the timetable allows. Suggestions regarding book stock are always appreciated and investigated.
